“A really lovely day”: Community comes together to celebrate Christmas at free event

The event took place at Gilfach Bargoed Community Centre and included a festive meal and live music – all put on by kind volunteers.

A new ‘Meanwhile Space’ will be coming to the town centre – which is the temporary use of a vacant unit, similar to a pop-up.

Bargoed’s Winter Fair was due to take place on December 9 but was cancelled two days before due to bad weather conditions.

The festive event is taking place on Christmas Day at Gilfach Bargoed Community Centre between 11am and 3pm.
