Man dies after car fire in Risca

Tredegar Park, Risca

A man has died after a car caught fire in Tredegar Park, Risca this morning (Monday, August 19).

Gwent Police has said his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Emergency services, including South Wales Fire and Rescue and Gwent Police remain at the scene.

Police attended the incident in Risca

Tredegar Street, Park Road and Station Road are still closed.

Gwent Police were called to the scene at around 9.30am.

A screen was put up so emergency services could move the car

Bus services in the area have been affected.
