Police appeal after crash which left man in critical condition

A man in his 30s is in a critical but stable condition in hospital following a car crash in Pontllanfraith.

The crash happened at around 3.10am on Thursday, October 21 on Llanarth Road.

He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, for treatment.

The crash involved just one vehicle – a black Vauxhall Corsa.

Gwent Police has since launched an appeal for witnesses, or anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage of the incident, to come forward.
