The man was found outside a property on Phillips Walk at around 9.25pm on Sunday, March 13.

A 35-year-old man from Rhymney was arrested in connection with the death, but has been released on conditional bail.

Gwent Police said the 58-year-old’s next of kin have been informed and are “receiving support from officers”.

“The cause of death is yet to be established although a post-mortem examination has taken place.”
