An 18-year-old man from Caerphilly has died after a car crash in Monmouthshire on Sunday, May 8.

The crash, which involved a Peugeot 5008 and a Ford Focus, happened at around 1.30pm on Usk Road, Shirenewton, near Chepstow.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 30-year-old man, a 54-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Gwent Police has appealed for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, or anyone who was in the area at the time, to get in touch.
