Police appeal for information after a dangerous driving incident in Markham

The incident took place on Pant y Cefn road

Gwent Police are appealing for information following an incident in Markham which saw a 66-year-old woman sustain serious injuries.

The road collision took place on Pant y Cefn road at around 11.20am on December 9 and involved a silver Nissan Navara and a pedestrian who was taken to the University Hospital of Wales for treatment. 

A 39-year-old woman from the Markham area has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Police are asking for those who have relevant information to come forward and are also asking for dashcam or CCTV dashcam footage from Markham and the surrounding area between 10.45am and 11.30am on December 9 to come forward.
