Train services will be disrupted for eight days in April – including over the school Easter holidays.
Infrastructure work related to the South Wales Metro will mean trains will be replaced by bus services for passengers in Ystrad Mynach, Bargoed and Rhymney.
Rail replacement services will be operating from Monday April 3 to Thursday April 6 between Ystrad Mynach, Bargoed and Rhymney.
Trains will be replaced again by bus services between 9.25pm on Monday April 10 to Thursday April 13 on services between Ystrad Mynach and Rhymney.
A spokesperson for Transport for Wales said: “This is for infrastructure work related to the South Wales Metro including but not limited to: foundations and steelwork for Overhead Line Electrification, OLE installation, platform construction and work to make platforms ready for level boarding.”
Passengers can find out more by visiting the Transport for Wales website.
