There is a jumble sale at Abertysswg Community Centre

A tabletop jumble sale is taking place in Abertysswg this Easter Saturday.

Easter cakes, easter hampers, kids’ clothes, adult clothes and more will be available at Abertysswg Community Centre on Saturday, April 8.

Colleen Midgley, who lives in Abertysswg, organised the event with Sarah Howarth.

The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome.

There will be a raffle and the money raised will go towards children’s activities in the community centre.

“Lots of people donated gifts,” Colleen said about the raffle prizes available, which include wine, chocolate, a candle set and five free boxing sessions – either for children or women.

If the event goes well, Colleen may hire the hall out for monthly or bi-monthly jumble sales.

The event will take place at Abertysswg Community Centre from 12pm to 3pm on April 8.
