A two-year-old boy and a 29-year-old man have been injured after being hit by a car in Pontllanfraith.
Both were pedestrians in a collision with a car that took place on Tuesday May 9 on Bryn Road.
They were taken to hospital for treatment. The two-year-old has suffered potentially life-changing injuries and the 29-year-old man received minor injuries.
In a statement, Gwent Police said: “We received a report of a road traffic collision in Bryn Road, Pontllanfraith at around 10.10 am on Tuesday May 9.
“Officers attended along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service and the Welsh Air Ambulance.
“The collision involved a car and two pedestrians.
“The incident is ongoing.”
