Bargoed RFC have had their stand smashed-up once again, as their club secretary pleads with parents to educate their children.
The club, who play in the WRU National Championship, have been subject to several similar attacks this year according to secretary Huw Evans, who spoke to Caerphilly Observer about the latest incident.
He said: “Kids regularly congregate here throughout the year and we find ourselves picking up broken glass and bits of debris.
“This time the damage is quite extensive however. We’re not too sure when this happened but we suspect some time in the past week.”
Mr Evans explained how some of the stands are owned by the council, however the one that was damaged most recently is owned by the club.

He continued: “I wouldn’t like to put a number on how much we’ve spent repairing them over the years, we’ve informed the council but the pitch is so out of the way that I doubt much will come of it.
“We’ve tried to stop people coming in but they just climb over fences. On this occasion the door was actually forced open. It’s shocking.”
