Gerwyn Price will take on Dutchman Danny Noppert in the opening round of the 2023 Darts World Grand Prix in Leicester.
Price, from Markham, won the competition in 2020 and will get this year’s campaign underway on Monday October 2.
If successful, Price will take on either Krzysztof Ratajski or James Wade in the second round on Wednesday October 4.
The 32-man competition also features the likes of reigning champion Michael van Gerwen, world champion Michael Smith and Carmarthenshire’s Jonny Clayton – with £600,000 prize money up for grabs.
The event concludes on Sunday October 8.
