A 27-year-old man, charged with attempted murder following a car crash in Caerphilly, has appeared in court.
Liam Skym, of no fixed abode, Energlyn, appeared before Newport Magistrates’ Court on Friday October 27.
It came after a car crashed into a tree on Mountain Road at around 9.50am on Wednesday October 25.
Both Skym and a woman were taken to hospital for treatment following the crash, Gwent Police confirmed.
Skym was also charged with taking a Ford Focus without consent, drug driving, dangerous driving, and breaching a restraining order.
No plea was given, with Skym due to appear at Newport Crown Court on November 24.
