Gerwyn Price will face Northern Ireland’s Nathan Rafferty in his opening match at this year’s Grand Slam of Darts.
Three-time Grand Slam champion Price, from Markham, has been drawn into Group D, which also features Ryan Searle and Gian van Veen.
The 32-player competition is being held in Wolverhampton and gets underway on Saturday November 11.
The top two players from each of the eight groups advance to the knockout stages, which begin on Wednesday November 15.
The competition winner will be crowned on Sunday November 19, with the victor claiming the £150,000 top prize and lifting the coveted Eric Bristow Trophy.
Price last won the competition in 2021, hand claimed back-to-back victories in 2018 and 2019.
Meanwhile, Carmarthenshire’s Jonny Clayton has been drawn in Group B alongside Chris Dobey, Josh Rock and Berry van Peer.
