A 91-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in Risca earlier this month.
The collision, which involved a white Audi A4 and the pedestrian, happened at around 10.30am on Saturday November 11, near the Texaco petrol station on Cromwell Road.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she later died. Her next of kin are receiving support from specialist officers, Gwent Police has confirmed.
The force said enquiries are still ongoing, and that any motorist driving on Cromwell Road between 10.15am and 10.45am on Saturday November 11, should get in touch.
