Emanuel Close, Caerphilly
Neither the driver or anyone in the house was injured

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after a car crashed into a house on Castle View, Caerphilly.

Gwent Police said it was called to the house on Emanuel Close at around 1am on Friday December 22 following the crash, and was supported by South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

Fortunately, nobody in the house was injured.

The driver, a 25-year-old man from Pontypridd, also avoided injury, but was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed limit for alcohol and remains in custody.
