Gerwyn Price earned two points on the third night of Premier League Darts, but was denied a spot in the final after a defeat to the reigning world champion.
Price, from Markham, saw off teenage sensation Luke Littler in the quarter-finals in Glasgow on Thursday February 15, before a 6-3 loss to Luke Humphries in the semis.
Humphries went on to lose the final to Michael van Gerwen, who tops the Premier League standings.
Price currently sits fifth, one spot below the play-off places, with five points – level with Humphries in fourth and Littler in third.
Premier League Darts returns for night four in Newcastle on Thursday February 22, with Price up against Van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.

The Premier League consists of 16 mini-events held across different cities throughout the season, with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final over the best of 11 legs.
Points will be awarded each night to form the league table, from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs, which will be held at the O2 in London on Thursday May 23.
