Gerwyn Price defeated Michael van Gerwen as he reached the Premier League Darts semi-finals in Dublin on Thursday March 21.
Price, from Markham, beat the Dutchman 6-5 on Night Eight to secure his first win in the competition since Night Three.
The Iceman averaged 102 and crashed in six maximums to inflict a fourth consecutive defeat on Van Gerwen for the first time in Premier League history.
However, Price was later knocked out in the semi-finals by Michael Smith, who went on to lose the final to Luke Humphries.
Reigning world champion Humphries has now won three consecutive Premier League nights and sits top of the standings.
Price meanwhile remains seventh in the eight-man competition.
The Premier League consists of 16 mini-events held across different cities throughout the season, with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final over the best of 11 legs.
Points will be awarded each night to form the league table, from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs, which will be held at the O2 in London on Thursday May 23.
