Gerwyn Price reached the Premier League Darts final on Night Ten in Manchester
Gerwyn Price reached the Premier League Darts final on Night Ten in Manchester

Markham’s Gerwyn Price reached the final at last week’s Premier League Darts. This week, the Iceman will be hoping to go one step further and claim his first night win of 2024.

The competition heads to Birmingham for Night 11 on Thursday April 11, with Price facing Michael Smith in the opening round.

Price defeated Smith in last week‘s semi-final in Manchester, scoring a nine-darter in the process – reigniting a stuttering campaign and renewing his play-off hopes.

However, Price was beaten in the final by 17-year-old Luke Littler. It was his first final appearance since the opening night in Cardiff back in February, where Smith beat him in front of his home support.

The winner of the latest instalment of Price v Smith will face either Michael van Gerwen or Nathan Aspinall in the semi-finals.

The Premier League consists of 16 mini-events held across different cities throughout the season, with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final over the best of 11 legs.

Points will be awarded each night to form the league table, from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs, which will be held at the O2 in London on Thursday May 23.
