Markham’s Gerwyn Price reached the quarter-finals of the Dutch Darts Championship over the weekend – but was knocked out by eventual champion Josh Rock.
Price, 38, began his campaign in the Netherlands on Saturday May 25, where he beat Northern Ireland’s Mickey Mansell 6-0, before defeating Dutchman Gian van Veen 6-1 in the third round.
However, Price was stopped in his tracks by Northern Ireland’s Rock, who came away with a 6-3 victory in the quarter-finals.
Rock went on to knock Germany’s Martin Schindler out in the semi-finals, before beating Welshman Jonny Clayton in the final.
