Crimestoppers is offering a £1,000 reward for information on Anthony Foley’s whereabouts

Update: Gwent Police confirmed on Monday December 9 that Foley has since been located and is helping with enquiries

Police are appealing to find a man linked to a machete attack – with a reward on offer for information.

Gwent Police wants to speak to 35-year-old Anthony Foley, who it believes could help with its investigation.

Foley, who is from Brynmawr, is said to have links to Bargoed.

Anyone with information on Foley’s whereabouts can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2400387262.

A £1,000 reward for “information leading to the arrest and conviction of [Foley], who is wanted for grievous bodily harm following an assault with a machete,” is being offered by Crimestoppers – which can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.

A reward of up to £1,000 is available for the anonymous information on the whereabouts of Anthony Foley.
