A pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a van in Risca.
The incident happened at around 9pm on Tuesday January 14 on the A467 southbound.
Gwent Police has launched an appeal for information on the collision.
In a statement, the force asked: “Did you see any pedestrians on the A467 southbound between 8pm and 9pm, in the first parking area between Full Moon roundabout and Tesco roundabout?
“If you did, or have any other information or dashcam footage, please call us on 101 quoting 2500014187, or you can direct message us.”
