Win £100 in vouchers to spend at Kookoo Madame’s new Caerphilly store

Kookoo Madame’s new boutique at Caerphilly’s Castle Court Shopping Centre

Shoppers and lovers of all things glitzy, quirky, and stylish now have a new place to visit with the recent opening of independent boutique Kookoo Madame at Caerphilly’s Castle Court Shopping Centre.

Known for its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and personal touch that makes every visit special, Kookoo Madame features much-loved favourites such as Nomination Italy, Qudo, Hugo Boss, Uno De 50, Jellycat, lush Welsh gifts, and plenty of unique finds.

Founded by wife and husband team Emma and Rez Jamal in 2007, Caerphilly is the retailer’s third outlet following Pontypridd’s original store and Talbot Green.

This new chapter is a full-circle moment for the couple having got married at Caerphilly Castle in 2010 – just opposite their new site.

Kookoo Madame’s founders Rez and Emma Jamal

Founded in 2007, Kookoo Madame was born from Emma’s determination to turn a difficult time into something positive.

After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005, she took a leap of faith and opened her own boutique in Pontypridd. Over the years, it has become a go-to destination for gorgeous clothing, stunning jewellery, and quirky gifts.

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing – the boutique has weathered financial crashes, devastating floods in 2020 at Pontypridd, and of course a global pandemic.

Emma said: “Kookoo Madame has always been about more than just shopping – it’s about people.

“From the very beginning, our focus has been on creating a space where customers feel like they’re part of something special. It’s not just about purchasing items – it’s about fostering relationships, offering a personal touch, and providing a sense of warmth and community.”

Find your ‘inner KooKoo’ and discover for yourself why Emma and Rez’s boutiques have become a beloved part of South Wales’ shopping scene.

You can find Kookoo Madame at Unit 27 Castle Court, Caerphilly, CF83 1NU and online at www.kookoomadame.co.uk and the team can be contacted on 029 2297 2235.
