Auriel Halilaj has been missing for six weeks

Police are appealing to find a teenager who has been missing for six weeks.

Auriel Halilaj, 18, was last seen leaving an address in Pontymister at around 11am on Saturday May 10.

He was last seen wearing black bottoms, a grey t-shirt and grey/white trainers.

Auriel has been described as being around 6ft tall, of stocky build with short dark brown hair.

He also has a tattoo that says “family” on his hand.

He has links to Blackwood, Crosskeys, and Caerphilly, as well as Birmingham and Southampton.

Gwent Police said officers have been “carrying out a wide variety of enquiries”, including CCTV and house-to-house enquiries as part of the search.

Anyone with information on Auriel’s whereabouts can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2500149160.

Auriel is also urged to get in touch with the police.
