A Caerphilly-based line dancing group has raised £15,000 for the Wales Air Ambulance charity.
The Loud ‘n’ Proud group has supported the charity for more than a decade, holding numerous raffles and more to raise much-needed funds.
It is a charity close to group members’ hearts, as it helped one of their friends following a cardiac arrest.
Group member Angela Coleman, whose husband sells raffle tickets as part of the group’s charity push, said: “The Wales Air Ambulance is a very important charity, anybody might need their help. It saved one of our member’s friend’s life.
“We’re proud how much has been raised, it’s absolutely brilliant. We are only a small group and we are definitely proud of how much has been raised over the years.”

Laura Coyne, Wales Air Ambulance’s community fundraising manager, said: “The continued support we’ve received from the Loud ‘n’ Proud line dancers has been phenomenal.
“They’ve been raising funds for our lifesaving charity for at least 12 years and we’re extremely grateful.
“They should be ‘Loud n Proud’ about the £15,000 they have raised. It is a wonderful small social group and to raise funds doing something you enjoy is wonderful.”
Ms Coyne continued: “Thank you to everyone who has supported the group over the years, your support will help us continue to be there for the people of Wales when they need us most.
“The Wales Air Ambulance needs to raise £11.2 million every year to keep our helicopters in the air and our rapid response vehicles on the road. Support like this will help us to reach that target.”
