A former pub in Cefn Hengoed could be converted into nine homes.
New proposals submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council set out how the old Cross Keys Inn, on Hengoed Road, could be redeveloped.
The applicant, Rouble Mann, has recently purchased the premises, according to planning documents.
The proposals include extending the rear of the building to make room for two of the apartments.
Three of the proposed new homes would be on the ground floor of the building, with another four on the first floor, and two existing apartments on the second floor would be retained but redesigned.
The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 25/0525/COU.
