Two members of an organised crime group have been jailed for their role in supplying class A drugs in Caerphilly.

Lloyd Davies, 23, of Aubrey Hames Close, Newport, and Callum Pascoe, 22, of St David’s Drive, Graig y Rhacca, appeared at Newport Crown Court on Tuesday August 26.

Davies was handed a jail sentence of three years and nine months, while Pascoe was jailed for four years and eight months.

A third member of the group – Ashton Cleverley-Jones, 19, of Bryn Heol, Bedwas – was given a two-year suspended sentence.

Their arrests came following a series of drug raids in Newport and Caerphilly in January, in which more than 40 officers raided five addresses.

Those raids saw class A and B drugs seized, along with mobile phones, cash, and a weapon.

Detective Constable Rhys Jones, the officer in the case said: “Tackling drug supply, dismantling county lines and protecting the public from illegal drugs and associated crime is a priority for us.

“We hope that these sentences, and the enforcement activity carried out early this year, demonstrate our commitment to taking drugs off our streets and see dealers face the consequences of their actions.
