The New Bungalow Club, Oakdale

A club in Oakdale could be converted into a home, plans show.

The New Bungalow Club would become a three-bedroom house complete with a games room and a gym, under proposals submitted by applicant Dean Morgan.

The ground floor of the premises, which currently comprises the club’s bar area, lounges, kitchen and toilets, would be repurposed for an open-plan living space, master bedroom and en suite, games room, and bathroom.

Upstairs, the existing layout would be updated to include two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.

A home gym has been proposed for the basement level, which is currently a storage area.

The application is currently under consideration, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 25/0844/COU.
