Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death of a 64-year-old woman in Nelson.
The woman died at a property on Caerphilly Road, Nelson, at around 10.45pm on Saturday February 14.
A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder, but has since been released without further action.
Gwent Police Detective Superintendent Philip O’Connell, the senior investigating officer, said: “We understand that reports of this nature are unsettling for our communities and our officers have been carrying enquiries to establish the circumstances of the death.
“While the death is no longer being treated as unexplained, officers continue to be in the area to complete enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”
Police confirmed the woman’s family has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
