A car and bank cards went missing following a burglary in Pontllanfraith earlier this month.

The house, on Blackwood Road, was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday March 3.

Car keys were taken from the house, before the blue Mercedes (number plate GLA 220 D) was stolen, with bank cards inside the car.

Those bank cards were subsequently used in stores in Tredegar, Rassau, and Ebbw Vale on the same day.

The car has since been found in West Bromwich, near Birmingham.

Gwent Police is investigating, and has released a CCTV picture of a man who it believes could have information.

Anyone with information can contact Gwent Police on 101, on its website, or through direct message on social media, quoting 2600066557.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
