Matthew Benney, 20, has a history of serious violence, including the use of weapons, and is wanted for five offences.

Police say has breached the terms of his release licence from jail and will be returned to prison once he has been found.

Police in Callington, Cornwall, describe Benney as white, 5ft 7in tall, with a thin-medium build. He has dark brown-black hair and brown eyes.

He has a tattoo on his right arm with the inscription ‘Benny’ in gothic script, and speaks with a Welsh accent.

He has links to Callington, Caerphilly, and possible links to the Manchester area.

Anyone with information about Benney’s whereabouts should contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
