Mill Road near Penyrheol was closed off for a short time on Friday after a taxi was involved in a crash with another vehicle.
Gwent Police said the accident happened near Penyrheol Cemetery at about 3pm. Part of a wall was damaged and enquiries are still ongoing as to the cause of the accident.
A spokesman for the force said there were no injuries.
