Friends of Caerphilly Youth Theatre is looking for new committee members.

Are you a business-minded person with an interest in the arts? Are you willing to give up some of your spare time to help develop Caerphilly Youth Theatre?

The Friends of Caerphilly Youth Theatre will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday March 31 in the Lower Bar of Blackwood Miners’ Institute starting at 7pm.

A new management committee will be elected to serve for the year 2010/2011.

Caerphilly Youth Theatre provides the opportunity for young people aged between 14 and 20-years-old across Caerphilly County Borough to learn new skills in performance.

The group performs in various productions throughout the year and is a great opportunity to meet new people and build confidence.

While the meeting is open to those who are directly involved with the County Youth Theatre, it is also open those who are business-minded and have an interest in the arts.

The new management committee will, amongst other things, help to access funding towards its annual programme of events.

If you would like to support the Youth Theatre please come along on March 31. Contact Tony Gallagher on 01495 224425 or email GALLAA@caerphilly.gov.uk
