Rhymney law firm a success after Caerphilly Council help

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 14:10, Wednesday March 16th, 2011.

A firm of solicitors is going from strength-to-strength in Rhymney after help from Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Evans Quartermaine Solicitors set up their business on Rhymney High Street back in 2005 after receiving a Start-Up grant from the council.

The two founding partners, Justin Evans and Natalie Quartermaine, are the driving force behind this young and dynamic firm, which prides itself on service, professionalism and respect.

Evans Quartermaine Solicitors opened for business in July 2005 and are now celebrating their sixth year. During a recent expansion and refurbishment programme they received a Heads of the Valleys Grant to fund the works.

They now employee six members of staff and clients range from commercial through to private or publicly funded individuals.

Justin said: “We have been overwhelmed by the support from all our clients during our formative years and I would like to thank everyone concerned.

Natalie added: “Caerphilly council has also been very supportive since the start and this latest heads of the Valleys grant has helped strengthen the business so we are well placed to grow even further in the future.”

Cllr Ron Davies, cabinet member for regeneration said: “It’s good to see a young business flourish and grow in the community. We are delighted that we have been able to help the firm right from the start and we wish them the best of luck for the future.”

  • Businesses and business start-ups in all business sectors in the Heads of the Valleys area of Caerphilly County Borough may be eligible for financial support up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of £2,000.
