Gwent Police have appealed for information about an incident involving a taxi and a bus driven by a learner driver.
The instructor with the learner on the bus was injured and had to be taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital for checks after receiving first aid on the scene.
The bus was driving on Newport Road, in Trethomas, at 7.50am on Thursday, March 24, when the taxi pulled out of Lower Glyngwyn Street, causing the bus to brake sharply.
The instructor was hurt in the incident but the learner driver was uninjured.
