Police appeal for missing Blackwood man, 40

UPDATE: Missing Blackwood man, 40, found dead

Gwent Police is appealing for information to find a missing Blackwood man.

Lewis Powell, aged 40, was reported as missing from his home address on the evening of Monday May 17.

Mr Powell is approximately 5ft 10in tall, of slim build with short fair hair and blue eyes.

It is believed he may be wearing a blue checked shirt and blue jeans.

Police say this is the first time Mr Powell has been reported missing to them and officers are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr Powell should call Gwent Police on 101.
