A woman was cut free from the car she was travelling in after a crash on the A470 near Nantgarw.
Two cars collided on the northbound carriageway at 7.48pm on Tuesday before one hit a parked van, South Wales Police has said.
The man driving one car suffered a hand injury. There are no details about the woman who was cut free.
