Ten-year-old Chloe Smith with JLS and mum Rebecca

Ten-year-old Chloe Smith from Nantgarw had a dream come true when she met JLS after her mother won a competition live on-air on Capital FM.

The schoolgirl met her heroes backstage before their recent concert at the Cardiff International Arena with mum Rebecca Smith.

Primary school teaching assistant Rebecca, 28, said: “There are no words to describe how excited Chloe was to meet JLS. She was bouncing all the way there.

“They are her favourite band and she is their number one fan.

“Her bedroom is literally plastered in posters of them and she has their books and their clothing. We have seen them four times before but never met them.

“We were taken to meet them backstage before the show. Chloe was very nervous but so excited.”

Rebecca won the chance to meet JLS after taking part in a head-to-head competition live on Capital FM on the Kam and Sally Breakfast Show.
