Caerphilly County Borough has a host of entertainment and events for you this Easter weekend.

Have a good time on Good Friday at a free ‘Farm Open Day’. Come and see how the council’s Ynys Hywel Farm works and have a go at egg racing! Free transport will be available from Babell chapel to the farm. The event will run from 1pm to 4pm.

Llancaiach Fawr Manor will be full of activities during Easter.

All weekend, children will have the chance to meet baby farm animals with crafts and activities also available. A family ticket for one day costs just £21 which includes entry to the Manor and its grounds.

Hop along to Cwmcarn Forest on Saturday April 7 for an Easter Pottery Workshop, where you can create a unique Easter basket or bunny. Classes are £5 per child and will take place between 10am and 12pm and 1pm and 3pm, but places are limited so please book to avoid disappointment.

On Easter Sunday, Cwmcarn Forest will be visited by the Easter Bunny himself. But he has lost his basket of golden Easter Eggs and needs help finding them. For just £3 per child, they can join the Easter Egg Hunt and will be awarded with a gift for helping the Easter Bunny follow the clues.
