Gwent Police is appealing for information following several reports of criminal damage to vehicles in Penpedairheol which happened on Wednesday May 30.
The damage is thought to have occurred some time between 4pm and 6pm.
Five vehicles were damaged in total, all with deep scratches to the paint work. Four of the vehicles were parked on Hengoed Road and one vehicle on Brynhyfryd Terrace.
Officers are investigating and ask that anyone with information contacts 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
