The Met Office has issued a yellow “be aware” warning as high winds are expected in South Wales on Friday.
The organisation’s warning reads: “West or southwesterly gales are likely to affect many parts of South Wales and the southern half of England during Friday.
“The public should be aware that damage to trees is likely and that disruption to travel and outdoor activities could also occur. The gales are also likely to be accompanied by some heavy rain. Winds should gradually ease from the southwest during the day.”
The public is advised to take extra care. For more information and advice visit the Met Office website
