Drop-in Clinic for new and existing businesses heads to Risca

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 15:00, Monday June 11th, 2012.

Caerphilly County Borough Council Business Enterprise Support and the Rural Development Teams will be heading out to provide financial support information for businesses on June 13.

The road show at Tesco Extra, Risca will offer support for those looking to start or grow their business, whatever the sector, from retail to rural or social enterprise to manufacturing the team will be able to give free help and advice about the packages of support available.

Whether companies would like advice on developing a website or purchasing new equipment the team will be there to help from 10am until 2pm. Businesses will be able to find out if their project is eligible for financial support and get help with applications.

Cllr Ken James, cabinet member for regeneration, planning and sustainable development, said: “Encouraging our local entrepreneurs to take the first steps into the world of business is very important for the local economy. If you have a business idea, come along and talk to the team to find out whether it could be eligible for financial support.”

For those unable to attend the roadshow on June 13, the Financial Support for Business Roadshow will be making its next stop at Western Industrial Estate on June 27.
