Three high-end bicycles worth £6,000 have been stolen from Castle Bikes in Trethomas.

The bikes, two drop-handled racing road bikes and one mountain bike, were stolen in the early hours of Wednesday July 11 from the shop at Riverbank Court.

Police have said three men entered the shop just after midnight and stole the three bikes.

The first racing bike is described as a turquoise-coloured Bianchi Sempre and the other is described as a white Felt F85. The mountain bike is a Saracen Aerial that is black with bright green highlights.

One of the men was wearing a blue-hooded top with a yellow motif on it and the other two men were wearing black tops and trousers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
