Police with Tasers patrol Abercarn in search for man wanted in connection with incident

Police armed with Tasers are currently looking for a man they would like to speak to in connection with a “disturbance” at an address in Abercarn.

A police spokesman, in a statement, said: “At approx. 9.30am this morning, Monday October 1, we received a report of a disturbance at an address on Llanover Street, Abercarn.

“When officers attended they found a woman who was uninjured.

“Police are now undertaking enquiries to locate a man, who is known to the woman, to assist with their enquiries.”

A police spokeswoman added that officers armed with Tasers were now looking for the man but could not reveal the nature of the incident this morning.

She said: “We are trying to locate him to establish what occurred.”
