Caerphilly Business Forum blog: Get ready for our annual awards

Preparations are well under way for our annual showpiece, the Caerphilly Business Forum annual awards.

It won’t be held until November but it really does take some organising – both planning and implementing – and that’s why we have to start it so early each year.

In addition to that, this year will be the 10th annual awards, which is a pretty good endorsement of them. Put quite simply, if businesses didn’t want them, we wouldn’t still be running them.

And by “businesses” I mean those entering the awards, the sponsors and other members who attend.

To mark our success in reaching this first milestone, the 10th annual awards will go that extra mile. We’ll be announcing the details at the official awards launch, sponsored by Norgine, on June 10 at Llancaiach Fawr Manor.

But I can tell you that they will be the biggest event to date. Having sold out last year’s event, we’ve taken steps to increase the capacity this year to accommodate up to 250 guests which we hope to sell out again.

Those additional places reflect the success of the forum, with growing membership and increasing interest from beyond the county borough. It’s not only the media who have been courting us recently but businesses from further afield who want to be part of one of Caerphilly’s real success stories.

But enough of blowing our own trumpet – what about Caerphilly’s other success stories? They are the ones we really want to hear about, the businesses who should enter our awards.

It’s quick, easy, the cost is minimal and the benefits are tremendous. So what are you waiting for? Come to our launch on June 10 or contact Leah Roberts on leah@cbforum.co.uk or call 029 2125 1395 for more information.
