Residents’ views wanted on play by Caerphilly Council

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 10:33, Monday December 31st, 2012.

Caerphilly County Borough Council is urging residents to give their views on the provision of play areas for youngsters in its area.

The Welsh Government has asked each local authority in Wales to carry out a “play sufficiency assessment” to find out if play areas, leisure centres, youth clubs, playing fields and other recreational spaces are meeting the needs of children and young people.

Young people and adults from across Caerphilly County Borough are being invited to take part in an online questionnaire from the council.

The survey for young people can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/childandyoungpersonplaysurvey

The survey for adults can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/adultschildrenplaysurvey

Completed questionnaires will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a year’s free family membership at council leisure centres across the county borough.

To be in with a chance of winning, questionnaires should be submitted by 4pm on Monday January 7, 2013.
