A Caerphilly man’s death in Pontypool yesterday afternoon is being treated as unexplained, Gwent Police has confirmed.
The unnamed man in his 60s was found on Market Street on Tuesday at 12.30pm. Police and paramedics were called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers are undertaking enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, and at this time we are treating it as unexplained.”
