Chloe Goddard, 12, is hoping for success at the Teenstar Regional final in Cardiff

A 12-year-old girl from Abertridwr has wowed judges in a national singing competition.

Chloe Goddard has made it through to the regional finals of the TeenStar competition and will be performing live on stage in Cardiff next month.

The Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni pupil will be singing Bruno Mars’ Count on Me at the Coal Exchange on March 24 at 12pm.

She has been singing since she was little and loves entertaining people. She’s also entered into this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Chloe said she is very excited to be singing in the regional final as she enjoys it

Chris Grayston, events coordinator for TeenStar, said: “We are looking to find an act that has something unique to offer and can go all the way, with both the ability to deliver a strong live performance but also potential to become a professional recording artist. There is so much talent out there I’m sure we can find that star again.”

If Chloe is successful in the Cardiff final, she could be going to London’s O2 for the national final.

You can purchase tickets for the regional final to support Chloeon the door subject to availability or from Londis Shop, Troed y Bryn, Penyrheol.
