News | Richard Gurner | Published: 11:00, Saturday June 4th, 2011.

If you are looking for somewhere to showcase your skating and BMX skills, why not come along to the Nelson Skate/BMX Jam event later this month?

The Nelson Village Partnership, together with Caerphilly County Borough Council and EC Cycles, is organising the event.

The Nelson Skate/BMX Jam event will take place on Saturday June 18 between 11am and 4pm at the Wern Skate Park in Nelson.

This year’s competition also includes a Scooter category – there will also be a climbing wall, DJ music, bike post coding, Dr Bike workshops, prizes, refreshment and more! There will also be demonstrations by Extreme Culture, Kill City, Elemental Force and Matti Hemmings.

Please note that children under the age of 16 will need parental consent to enter the competition.
