Bonnet and headlights stolen from car at Crossways pub, Caerphilly

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 09:00, Tuesday February 11th, 2014.

A white Ford Fiesta had its bonnet and headlights stolen while it was parked outside a popular family pub.

The theft happened overnight between Saturday February 8 and Sunday February 9 from the Crossways pub car park near Pontypandy in Caerphilly.

Anyone with information should contact Gwent Police on 101 and quote Log 237 09/02/14.

The latest theft follows a recent trend of cars having parts stolen from them.

On December 2 last year, the front end of a Fiesta was removed while it was parked on Nantgarw Road.

A bonnet was removed from a car parked at Ystrad Mynach Train Station on November 27. The white transit van was also spotted at the station.

Also on November 27, a bonnet, bumper and front plates were removed from a car parked at Morrisons Caerphilly while another car was also targeted for it bumper, bonnet and registration plate nearby on Bedwas Road near Tonyfelin Surgery.
