News | Richard Gurner | Published: 11:28, Tuesday March 25th, 2014.

Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl in Oakdale and then drove off.

The teenager was walking along Brynhoward Terrace, Oakdale, in the direction of Croespenmaen, when a man pulled up beside her in a silver four-door 2007 registration hatchback and asked for directions.

When the girl responded the man exposed himself and then drove off. The girl was unharmed.

The incident happened at around 3.20pm on Wednesday March 19.

The man is described as being white, medium build and aged between 20 and 25. He had mousey brown hair with a swept fringe. He was wearing a light blue round neck t-shirt and stonewash jeans. He spoke with a local accent.

Police have urged residents to stay vigilant and to report any information they may have to 101 quoting log 381 19/03/14.
